Mark J. Bloom, Esq. - Associate
Mark J. Bloom earned his Juris Doctorate degree in two years from California Western School of Law. During his first year of law school, Mark received a creative problem solving scholarship. While there, he was an associate editor of both the California Western Law Review and the International Law Journal. He was awarded the “Academic Achievement Award” for Legal Research and Writing II and for excellence in the Internship Program. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Texas at Austin graduating in three years.
Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Mark practiced law at a nationally recognized plaintiff’s firm in the areas of employment law, toxic-tort, business law, personal injury and class actions. He was also an adjunct sports law professor at the University of New Orleans and Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans from 2004 to 2006.
Mark is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in California. He is a certified contract advisor for the National Football League Players’ Association. His primary practice areas are business litigation, product liability, personal injury and Employment & Labor law matters. Foreign Language
